I just watched the movie "Up in the Air" with George Clooney. As a REALLY frequent flyer, George demonstrated some of the very tricks I've learned through the years. He has the check-in process down to a fine art. I always suggest participation in loyalty programs for my clients. You're going anyway...why not earn some miles, the courtesy of a faster check-in, or the possibility of an upgrade at your favorite hotel chain. Those things do happen...and they may as well happen to you! Ask me if you're not sure about which program is the best..I'll share some more tips with you.

As for me? I'm using miles to fly to Hawaii next January with my sweet Baboo, including a hotel stay for 5 nights. And all I did was sign up about 20 years ago. Nothin' to it.
